Geetesh's love for wine was instilled in him as a boy while spending summers at his grandfather's vineyard in Italy. Learning about the intricacies of grape-growing and harvesting, he quickly became fascinated with the sights, aromas, and taste of wine. Above all else, however, it was the social experience of enjoying wine with loved ones that truly captivated him. Those nights watching his family laugh and tell stories over dinner while sharing a bottle of wine became some of his happiest childhood memories. So, with a belief that wine is a "vehicle for creating lasting memories with loved ones," Geetesh founded Sommras with a simple mission: To create an exceptional wine that lets people fully immerse themselves in the moment and experience the true joy of drinking wine with those they cherish.
